Survey Regarding School Closure, Reopening and Returning to School in August

The school year has recently ended and we are already planning and navigating how to welcome students and staff back to our schools for the 2020-21 academic year with appropriate considerations.

Our district leadership has created a Return to School Task Force comprised of teachers, site leaders, parents and RSD staff from throughout the district. The Task Force is diligently working on developing a “return to school plan” that includes guidelines, protocols and most importantly standards and safety procedures for classrooms, learning resources, transportation, meal distribution, communication protocols and continued sanitization of all district facilities. Please know that the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff continues to be a priority and decisions will be made based on public health and elected officials’ guidelines, in addition to the data gathered from our families and staff.

In an effort to learn from our communities recent experiences and gain awareness to better support a successful reopening, the Roosevelt School District No. 66 would appreciate your feedback as we plan for the upcoming school year. In order to help us make the best informed decisions, please take a few minutes to complete this brief anonymous survey.

Please participate and share your feedback with us before the deadline of June 5, 2020.

Remember, we are all in this together and together we will succeed!
