    Roosevelt School District Learning Plan During School Closures

     

    English Language Arts and Math Practice Take Home Packet Distribution 

    The Roosevelt School District No.66 has distributed packets for four-weeks' worth of English Language Arts and Math practice. The packets will be available for all grade levels. Please note, students with special needs will receive 1:1 virtual or telephonic contact from their teachers to tailor the content to their needs. These packets are in addition to resources already listed on our learning resources page. District and Campus Administrators have been distributing the packets at school sites during the breakfast and lunch meal distribution timeframe, which is 9 - 10:30 a.m. The learning packets will also be distributed to students on the mobile meals bus routes between 10 a.m. and Noon and continuing next week. In addition, individual campuses will also make packets available during other times to accommodate families.

    Grab-and-Go Breakfast and Lunch Meal Service

    Students can pick up both breakfast and lunch grab and go meals between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at each of the 16 school locations Monday-Friday OR they can walk to one of 19 bus stop locations between 10 a.m. and Noon Monday-Friday. All students under 18 years of age can pick up meals to go. Child must be present to participate.

  • Pastor Fourth Grade Students Participated in AZ Census 2020 Event

    Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Kathy Hoffman and Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego rallied fourth graders, their parents and staff at Ed and Verma Pastor Elementary in Phoenix today, highlighting the importance of participating in the 2020 Census and its direct impact on Arizona schools, especially in traditionally undercounted communities.
