Ms. Michelle Lampkin
Greetings and salutations! My name is Michelle Lampkin, and I absolutely love my job as a teacher. I have been in the education field for thirty-four years. Before becoming a certified teacher, I was a library assistant at Grimes Elementary in Tulsa Oklahoma whereas I was working on a degree in computer programing and software design. As I pursued those degrees, I realized all my electives related to education or teaching children, so I changed my major. In 2003, I graduated for Langston University, a Historical Black College in Oklahoma, with a degree in Elementary Education. I’ve been a certified teacher for seventeen years, educating students in different elementary schools in Oklahoma and Arizona. I’ve enjoyed calling the Roosevelt School District my home for the past ten years. I was welcomed into the Kennedy Community eight years ago and it’s been nothing short of amazing. My teaching position gives me great pleasure and allows me to work with families and community members to build strong bonds within our neighborhoods. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to help students acquire knowledge as they explore their interest.
I adore spending time with my children and grandchildren. While relaxing, I like to read, travel and work in my yard.
Inspiring tomorrows leaders today!
