English Language Arts
At Roosevelt School District, we are focused on the Structured Literacy model for reading instruction. Teachers are empowered to share the love of reading with rich, authentic literature along with direct and explicit instruction of foundational reading and writing skills every day.

Math
Standards based math instruction is the focus of the math curriculum in Roosevelt School District. In classrooms througout the district, teachers utilize various resources to support instruction.
ST MATH
ST Math starts by teaching the foundational concepts visually, then connects the ideas to the symbols and language. With visual learning, students are better equipped to tackle unfamiliar math problems, recognize patterns, and build conceptual understanding.Algebra Credit
In conjunction with Phoenix Union High School District, Roosevelt School district offers opportunities for eighth grade students to take Algebra for high school credit. If your student is interested, please reach out to your student's school staff.Science
