    RSD Celebrates Teacher Appreciation Week 2023

    We're proud to celebrate our amazing Roosevelt teachers at the governing board meeting on National Teacher Day, May 2, 2023, and throughout Teacher Appreciation Week. Students from kindergarten through eighth grade across our district share what makes their teachers special to them! Be sure to check our social media channels throughout teacher appreciation week (May 8-12, 2023) for more shoutouts!

  • Chavez Community Food Pantry Now Open!

    We have officially launched our on-site food pantry in partnership with St. Mary's Food Bank! Details:

     

    What: Food boxes for more than 100 families

    When: Every first and third Thursday of the month

    8:30AM-10:30AM AND 2:00PM-4:00PM

    Where: Zepeda Building at Chavez Leadership Academy, on the corner of 3rd St. and Illini

     

    Bring a box with you to help you carry all of the dry goods and refrigerated goods.
