Family Engagement Workshops and Events
The Roosevelt School District provides resources, workshops and events to help our families thrive. We are committed to collaborating with local partners to provide families with workshops, educational opportunities and resources that empower them to take an active role in their children’s education.
In addition to established partnerships with local community organizations and these upcoming events, our families have access to the Neighborhood House and Wellness Center, which provide free technology use, health and nutrition services. If there's an event you want to see at your school - tell us about it. Please fill out this brief survey and let us know what kinds of free classes and workshops you'd like to attend.

The life expectancy disparity between residents in South Phoenix and the north side is 14 years. Together we can bridge this lifespan gap worsened by the pandemic for Black and Hispanic communities. Education, particularly health education, goes beyond the classroom in this district. Together, we can improve the quality and longevity of life for residents in greater South Phoenix, building on the great work being done in the community.
