We hope this message finds you well and safe as we approach the end of the 2021-2022 academic school year. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have been committed to the health and safety of our students, staff, families and community. Recently, federal and county officials have updated their masking recommendations. The new guidance states that when community spread is no longer high (or in the red), masks can be recommended and not required.
Our Roosevelt teachers go the extra mile every day to ensure that all our students receive a high-quality learning experience. They challenge each child academically while supporting them socially and emotionally. They deserve to be recognized and celebrated for their efforts to inspire creativity in their students within personalized learning environments. Today, #NationalTeacherDay, we wanted to take a moment and highlight two current teachers and tell their story. Thank you for everything, teachers!
Parents and guardians are invited to our first vision and hearing screenings for RSD Online Academy students. If your child wears glasses, please bring them to this event.
Serving Students and Families for More Than 100 Years
We are Roosevelt. Somos Roosevelt.
We are a place where we value equity, inclusion, kindness and innovation. We are a place where students are taught by highly qualified, certified, caring teachers and staff, in safe and nurturing environments. We are a place where all students and families are valued and respected. We are committed to providing all students with a high-quality learning experience.
The Roosevelt School District has updated the 2022-23 academic calendar. The governing board adopted the new calendar during the May 3, 2022 meeting. The revised calendar is available for download in English and Spanish.
Our district provides resources workshops and events to help our families thrive. During this pandemic, it's even more important for us to come together and help each other. We will continue to update the Family & Community Engagement Workshop page frequently with new, virtual workshops and events. As you will notice, some of the virtual events are district-wide for all parents and families to attend and some are school based.
