The Roosevelt School District provides resources, workshops and events to help our families thrive. We are committed to collaborating with local partners to provide families with workshops, educational opportunities and resources that empower them to take an active role in their children's education.

In collaboration with Chicanos Por La Causa, this 6-week program will help parents and caregivers develop the skills, confidence, and courage to meet the challenges—and enjoy the joys—of their children's teen years.

Supporting Your Child for AZELLA Success

District EL coaches will show parents and caregivers simple ways to support their children for the AZELLA test. Families can enjoy a Día de los Muertos altar, pan de muerto, and take home free bilingual books and homework dictionaries. A raffle will take place during the workshop.

Parent Educator Academy

All In Education

The Parent Educator Academy is an introductory leadership development program designed for caregivers who wish to enhance their skills. It enables them to better support their children in navigating the school system and have a stronger voice in decisions impacting their families and communities. Participants in the program will benefit from valuable resources and training provided by certified experts.
