  • Students get geared up for school with GCU

    On Monday, July 18, more than 200 Roosevelt students got back to school supplies at a Back-to-School Drive hosted by Grand Canyon University. Gloria Zarate coordinated efforts with 16 of our schools and the transportation team to make sure students were all set to receive two tops, bottoms, shoes and other goodies.

  • Admin Academy preps school leaders for upcoming year

    From July 12 through 14, school leadership teams, including principals, assistant principals, deans and instructional coaches convened for a three-day Admin Academy, where they connected and collaborated around topics aligned with our district’s key priorities for the 2022-23 school year.

  • New Teacher Induction welcomes educators to RSD

    On July 20, we had the opportunity to welcome new teachers to our Roosevelt community. These new teachers learned about our Strategic Plan and began to build their strong foundation in professional learning communities while also getting to know each other. We look forward to working together this year and supporting their journey in Roosevelt School District.

  • District staff gather for convocation

    On Monday, July 25, Roosevelt teachers and staff were welcomed back in grand fashion at the Celebrity Theatre. The celebration featured student performances, school spirit competition, strategic goal awards and recognition of unsung heroes.
