Good afternoon T.G Barr, parents,
Please remember to make time to join us on Wednesday April 8, 2026 @ 8:30–10:00 a.m. in the library for our English session on preventing vaping and smoking among young children. During this session, you will also learn about the different vaping devices kids are using today—many of which parents may not recognize as vaping products.
We encourage all parents across grade levels to attend, especially those with upper-grade students (5th, 6th, 7th, and particularly 8th grade). This is a valuable opportunity to learn how to help prevent these habits before students enter high school.
We hope to see you there!

Please join us tomorrow, March 18th, for our first Spanish session.
T.G. Barr, invites all parents and caregivers to participate in our Tobacco Prevention Program. These sessions will provide important information about vaping and tobacco use, and how families can help youth stay tobacco-free.
The program is designed to empower parents and caregivers with knowledge about the dangers of smoking and vaping. We encourage all parents to attend, learn, and gain tools to help guide and support their children in making healthy choices.
This information is especially important for students in 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, as they begin preparing for the transition into high school. By learning now, we can work together to guide our children in the right direction and help protect them from these harmful and dangerous habits.
Each program consists of two sessions provided by Unlimited Potential.
