Dear Families,
State testing season is here! Students in grades 3–8 will be taking the Arizona Academic Standards Assessment (AASA) between March 16 and April 24. This assessment measures student learning in English Language Arts and Math.
Students in 5th and 8th grade will also take the AzSCI Science assessment.
These tests are one way the state measures how schools and students are performing, and the results help guide curriculum planning for next school year.
You can help your child do their best by:
✅ Making sure they get a good night’s sleep
✅ Providing a healthy breakfast
✅ Ensuring they arrive at school on time and attend every testing day
✅ Encouraging a positive attitude
Thank you for partnering with us to support your child’s success! If you have any questions, please contact your school.
As the weather begins to warm up, we encourage students to dress appropriately for the temperature. Please remind your student to avoid wearing sweaters or hoodies to school during these warmer days so they can stay comfortable throughout the day.
We also encourage all students to bring a reusable water bottle to school to stay hydrated. Water refill stations are available on campus for students to use.
Thank you for helping us keep our students safe, comfortable, and ready to learn! ☀️💧
Next week is spirit week! Monday is Read Across America Day. Come dressed as your favorite book character.
Can't wait to see all of the awesome costumes!
