⏰ 8:15am - 10:15am
📍1718 W. Vienyard Rd

Reminder! All students will be dismissed at 1:00pm tomorrow.

Valentines' day is coming up and many classrooms will be having parties at the end of the school day. If your child will be bringing treats to these festivities, we kindly request that they bring them to school in the morning, rather than having them delivered during the school day. This prevents interruptions to classroom instruction during the school day. Students will not be called out of class to pick up Valentines cards or treats.
Thank you.

Enrollment is open now. You can register on-line, or you can pick up paper registration packets at your preferred school. The sooner they register, the more chances they have to get the classes they want. Here is the link for the district enrollment:

Please make sure you only select one school when registering.
High schools will have a Future Freshman Registration Night on April 2, 2026. More information will come out on that.

When students arrive late, they interrupt classroom instruction that is already in progress. In addition, they miss out on valuable instruction that has already taken place. Please note that when students arrive late to class, after a certain time, they may be counted absence for the entire day.
To protect valuable educational time, students will not be dismissed within 30 minutes of the regularly scheduled dismissal time. Students should only be signed out early in the event of a family emergency or a medical appointment that could not be scheduled after school hours. When a student is signed out early for a medical appointment, a doctor’s note will be requested upon return.
It is important o call the school office at 602.232.4250, every time your child is absent.
School attendance is not only a good habit, but state law also requires it. Arizona State Law (15-802.A, 15-803. E) requires every person who has custody of a child between the ages of six and sixteen years shall make sure the child attends school for the full-time school is in session unless unable to attend due to illness or another legitimate reason.

Dear Ignacio Conchos Families,
We are writing to inform you of a concerning ongoing issue involving some students not using their school-issued iPads responsibly and are intentionally damaging the iPads and their protective cases. Our iPad program supports learning for every student and deliberate destruction of district property undermines that program and creates unnecessary expense for the school community.
Per Roosevelt School District policy: students who damage or lose district equipment will be held financially responsible for replacement. Current replacement costs are:
- Damaged iPad: $500
- Damaged or lost iPad case: $120
What we are asking from families:
- Please talk with your child about proper care and responsible use of their iPad and case.
- Remind students that intentional damage is unacceptable and that they (and their families) may be required to cover replacement costs.
- Encourage students to report accidents or damage immediately to their teacher or the office.
If an iPad or case is damaged or lost, staff will document the incident and follow district procedures. Families will be notified with instructions for payment or for arranging repairs/replacement.
Thank you for your partnership in helping us protect our learning technology and teach responsible stewardship to our students.
Sincerely,
Dr. Benjamin Roat
Principal
