I am thrilled to announce Story School for 0-5 year olds and a family member will start on Wednesday, January 22nd at John F. Kennedy’s Family Center. This is an English/Spanish reading program with a teacher from Make Way for Books! Classes will be held Monday + Wednesday from 9-10am. Roosevelt’s annual MLK Celebration will be held on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School-4615 S. 22nd St. The community march begins at 9:45. 6th-8th grade Robotic Award Winners!

Congratulations goes to our 4th-5th graders for receiving a Robotic Award!

The build and design competition used blueprints the students created and they built houses with materials of their choice. The Beach House won with Kit Kat Cabin coming in at 2nd place. Parents at Greenfield and Kennedy finished 9 weeks of Nutrition classes and received a certificate from the University of Arizona-Extension Food and Nutrition Education Program! We celebrated with a pot luck and our families made food that represent different ethnic backgrounds.

Your family is invited to celebrate Native American Heritage Month and the annual toy drive at Arizona Science Center on November 23rd at 5pm. Admission if free with an unwrapped toy. Arizona Science Center is an amazing place for the whole family. Discounted parking available at the center.
