This week, our school is focusing on the social skill of Using an Appropriate Voice Level. Each week, students practice skills that help them communicate respectfully and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Families can support by talking about when and where to use different voice levels—such as speaking quietly in the library or using a louder voice on the playground.
The 3 steps to Using an Appropriate Voice Level are:
1. Listen to the level of the voices around you 👂
2. Change your level to match 🔄
3. Listen to the teacher’s directions and adjust your voice level if needed 🎯
Thank you for helping us build consistency between home and school as our students strengthen these important life skills!

Families and community members are invited
Chat with the principal regarding school initiatives while sharing coffee and light refreshments.
