Families can help by talking with their children about staying focused even when things around them are noisy or tempting.
The 4 steps to Ignoring Distractions are:
1. Avoid looking at the distraction 🚫👀
2. Stay focused on your assignment 🎯
3. Resist the urge to respond to questions, teasing, or laughing 🤫
4. If necessary, tell a nearby adult 🧑🏫

What an amazing night at our Trunk or Treat! It was such a blast seeing so many of our students and even our future Julian Eagles show up in costume and full of Halloween spirit! 👻✨
A huge thank you to our families, staff, and community partners who made the event such a success. We even had some special guests like the Phoenix Suns Gorilla and our giant Minion friend join the fun! 💛 ♥️

Student Meal Updates
We understand that recent cuts to SNAP funding and the temporary lapse in benefits may cause concern for many of our Roosevelt families. Please rest assured that all Roosevelt students will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch every school day, regardless of any changes to SNAP.

This week, our school is focusing on the social skill of Asking for Permission. Each week, students learn and practice important skills that help them show respect, responsibility, and self-control in all settings.
Families can support by modeling and reinforcing these steps at home—whether your child is asking to use a device, go outside, or borrow something.
The 4 steps to Asking for Permission are:
1. Look at the person 👀
2. Use a calm and pleasant voice 🙂
3. Start with “May I…” 🙋♀️

Due to the high volume of drivers out, Route 303 will operate with a Sub driver and vehicle.
Route 302 will assist with the transportation needs of the students of Route 303.
