Kennedy Families,

Incoming 2nd and 3rd grade scholars are encouraged to practice multiplication fluency skills over the summer. Building fluency now will help students feel more confident and prepared for math this upcoming school year.

Students should begin by practicing their 2s, 5s, 10s, and 11s. Once they feel confident, they can move on to practicing their 3s, 4s, 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, and 12s.

A few minutes of practice each day can make a big difference. Thank you for helping our scholars stay ready to learn!

Have a great summer!

Thank You, Herberger Theater Center! 🎭

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Herberger Theater Center for bringing the ARTS 360 program and the beautiful production of The Snow Queen to our campus.

Our students were fully engaged and inspired by the powerful storytelling through movement, music, and expression. Experiences like this provide our scholars with meaningful access to the arts while fostering creativity, imagination, and a deeper appreciation for performance!

At Greenfield- open to Kennedy families today 1-3:30pm.

Get ready—the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school! This is a great opportunity to build your child’s home library with new books they’ll dive into again and again.

The easiest way to let your child shop the Fair independently is by creating an eWallet. It’s easy to set up and easy for others to add funds. Create an eWallet, and you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to Share the Fair - the giving program that supports students at our school who need help buying books. Consider participating so that no child leaves the Fair empty-handed! https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/cogreenfieldschool

Here’s everything else you need to know about the Book Fair:
Dates: March 23–27
Location: Room 218
Book Fair After-hours: Wednesday, March 25 from 2–4 p.m.
For full details and to create an eWallet, visit our school’s Book Fair homepage

More than ever, we need to get students reading. Studies prove that children with more books at home have higher-level reading skills, and attain more years of education overall.

Happy reading,
C.O. Greenfield Student Council
