Students Dismiss at 1:00 PM, please make arrangements for Pick Up Teachers will be unavailable to supervise. Students must be accompanied by a Guardian while on campus during after school events.

We want to inform you that earlier today our campus initiated a brief medical HOLD out of an abundance of caution. The hold lasted approximately 15 minutes and has since been fully lifted.
All students remained safe throughout the entire time, and learning was NOT interrupted. We appreciate your continued support in helping us maintain a safe and focused learning environment.

Important Reminders:
Each athlete is allowed 4 tickets.
School-age children do not need a ticket, but must be accompanied by an adult.
Please pick up athletes immediately after their game.
Girls’ basketball players who stay to watch the boys’ game must be accompanied by an adult.
Cheerleaders must be picked up after both games.
Playing time is not guaranteed.
Please follow all school rules and show respect to referees, coaches, players, and other spectators.

Tomorrow November 3rd first through eighth grade will be testing. The whole school will be on a testing schedule starting at 8:30 A:M. Please make sure to have your students on time, eat breakfast and get plenty of rest. Can't wait to see how much our scorpions know.
Student Meal Updates
We understand that recent cuts to SNAP funding and the temporary lapse in benefits may cause concern for many of our Roosevelt families. Please rest assured that all Roosevelt students will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch every school day, regardless of any changes to SNAP.
Today our school held a fire drill as part of our regular safety practice.
Students did a great job following directions and staying calm. These drills help us ensure everyone knows what to do in an emergency.

We're excited for the Sunland Boulevard Boo Stroll Parade!
To ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all, please review the following important logistical and safety guidelines.
• Date: Friday, October 31, 2025
• Arrival Time: Parents can begin to arrive at 8:30 AM.
• Parade Time: 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM
📍 Parade Viewing and Access
• Viewing Area: Parents are welcome to line up on the street west of A Building. This area extends from the start of A Building down to the double gates by the staff parking lot.
• Front Office Access (if you are needing to pick up or drop off a student): Please use Roeser Rd to access the front office area.
Please see attached map.
🚧 Street Closures & Entry
• Sunland Ave Entrance Closure: The school entrance off of Sunland Ave will be closed for the duration of the parade (9:00 AM to 9:45 AM). It will reopen once the parade has concluded.
• Access: Please plan your arrival accordingly, keeping the street closure in mind. Parents and Families are encouraged to bring LAWN Chairs or blankets to site along the road during the Parade.
🛑 Safety Reminder
• DO NOT approach students during the parade. This is a crucial rule for the safety and security of all our students. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep the parade orderly and safe.
