Thank you to all parents who have assisted us with student pick-up, by having their Yellow Card on their dashboard or inside the windshield. We have reduced the time for students to be picked up in the student car line-up from 1 hour on the first day of school to 23 minutes yesterday, Thursday, August 7th.
Tip: If you are a car pick-up parent in the line-up and you show up early. You can tell your student that their name is going to be on top of the pick-up list in the Library, and they should immediately tell their teacher
and walk to the Exit door when they enter.
Reminder: Please pull to the Front of the Student Pick-up line when spots move. Pull up to the crosswalk on the East end The further up you go, the better we can assist other parents.

Gracias a todos los padres que nos han ayudado con la recogida de estudiantes al tener su Tarjeta Amarilla en el tablero o dentro del parabrisas. Hemos reducido el tiempo de recogida de los estudiantes en la fila de autos de una hora en el primer día de clases a 23 minutos ayer, jueves 7 de agosto.

Recordatorio: Por favor, avance hasta el frente de la fila de recogida de estudiantes cuando se liberen lugares. Avance hasta el cruce peatonal en el extremo este. Cuanto más adelante llegue, mejor podremos asistir a otros padres.

Welcome to Sunland STEAM Academy! Thank you for your patience during student drop-off in the morning and pick-up in the afternoon. We are working to make these times easier every day.

2- The blue gates open at 7:15 am. Bringing your children early can help avoid traffic.
There are TWO lanes for drop-off and pick-up.
Library Waiting Area:
1- For Students being picked-up by someone waiting in the car line-up ONLY
2- In the afternoon, if you pick up your student(s) in the car line, your children should wait in the library. We will ask you for their name(s). When their name appears on the screen, they can leave to meet you. We will give you a yellow card for your car window to help us identify your student.
Walker Gates (Blue Gates):
1- If you are walking with your student(s) to your car or leaving campus by foot, please pick them up at the BLUE gates—NOT in the library.
2- Please tell your student(s) where they will be picked up and try to keep the same routine every day. This will make pick-up time faster and safer for everyone.

Hello Sunland Family!
Don't forget, tonight is Sunland's Meet the Teacher, from 4:00pm - 6:30pm. Gates open at 3:50pm.
Parking lot will be limited, so please follow the signs to park along Roeser, and surrounding streets. The student drop off/pick up lane along the East side of the building is a No Parking area.
We will begin in our Library, where staff will introduce themselves, then students and families will meet with their teachers in the classrooms.

¡No lo olviden! Esta noche es la reunión "Conozca al Maestro" de Sunland, de 4:00 p. m. a 6:30 p. m. Las puertas se abren a las 3:50 p. m.
