Good Afternoon Eagle Families,

This is a friendly reminder that Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place during the week of March 2nd, just before Spring Break. We encourage all families to take this opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher to discuss their academic progress, classroom performance, and overall growth.

Conferences are an important time to celebrate successes, review goals, and address any questions or concerns you or your child may have. Partnering together helps ensure that every student receives the support they need to be successful. Please reach out to your child’s teacher as soon as possible to schedule your conference time.

Coffee with the Principal's Meeting
Good Afternoon, Eagles,

We appreciate your continued partnership and support. As we move through flu season and see an increase in illnesses, we want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of daily school attendance. While we certainly do not encourage sending students to school when they are ill, it is critical that students who are healthy are present and on time each day. Consistent attendance plays a key role in student learning, growth, and academic success.

Additionally, we would like to remind families that students may not be checked out after 1:30 p.m. Early checkouts during this time cause students to miss their intervention classes, which are essential for building the skills they need to perform at grade level.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us ensure that every student has the opportunity to learn and thrive each day.

Sincerely,

Mr. Mitchell

Dear Eagle Families, We are excited to share that tomorrow marks our 100th day of school! This is an important milestone in our school year and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate student growth, learning, and perseverance. Because of the significance of this day, it is especially important that all students are present so they can fully participate in the activities and celebrations planned throughout the day. To add to the fun, we invite students to dress like they are 100 years old as we celebrate being 100 days smarter! Creativity is encouraged, and participation is completely optional, but always appreciated. Thank you for your continued support and for helping us make this a memorable day for our students. We look forward to celebrating together! Warm Regards, Mr. Mitchell

Dear Valley View Families,

In recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Valley View Leadership Academy will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026. School will resume on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a civil rights leader who dedicated his life to promoting equality, justice, and nonviolence. His leadership and commitment to service continue to inspire us to treat one another with respect, empathy, and integrity, values we strive to instill in our students each day.

We hope this day provides an opportunity for reflection, service, and meaningful conversations with your family. Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable day of remembrance.
