Just a reminder, there is TWO WEEKS left for NO COST back-to-school and sports physicals!

Any child of school age (2-18) can be scheduled at any one of nine clinics to come get their physical at no cost until August 30th. If a child does not have insurance, they first schedule them with the eligibility team at no cost and will then schedule their no cost physical.

Things a back-to-school/sports physical include:
• A well-child check-up
• Vision and hearing exam
• Optional visits with a registered dietitian or behavioral health specialist

Students in a garden holding strawberries
Roxanna Figueroa and David Mateo came to talk to our 8th graders about preparing for college classes in high school. Their suggestions included keeping a high grade point average, applying for scholarships, joining clubs and connecting with counselors to take college credits. They also talked about the ASU campuses and answered questions about different majors. Our students were able to receive ASU swag! Thank you to Dr. Banks for letting me set up all of the guest speakers this year! Melissa.downs@rsd.k12.az.us
