Join us tonight, Wednesday, December 17, from 4:30–6:30 PM for our Winter Showcase! Our scholars have been working hard and are excited to share their voices with you through holiday songs and performances.
Families can also enjoy fun activities, food trucks, and hot chocolate as we come together to celebrate the season and our amazing Kennedy community.
Bundle up, bring your holiday cheer, and get ready for a joyful evening of music, smiles, and togetherness. 🎶✨

Today, John F. Kennedy Academy of Inquiry had a lock down drill. To ensure a safe learning environment for students and staff members, lockdown drills are commonly practiced.
The lockdown drill was at 1:00 pm and lasted for 14 minutes. Other than this interruption, the school day proceeded normally with minimal disruption to learning. The safety and well-being of students and staff members are our highest priority at John F. Kennedy Academy of Inquiry.

Hoy, en la Academia de Indagación John F. Kennedy, realizamos un simulacro de cierre de emergencia (lockdown). Estos simulacros se practican con regularidad para mantener a nuestros estudiantes y personal seguros.
El simulacro comenzó a la 1:00 p. m. y duró 14 minutos. Aparte de esta breve interrupción, el día escolar continuó con normalidad y con muy poco impacto en el aprendizaje. La seguridad y el bienestar de nuestros estudiantes y personal son siempre nuestra prioridad en la Academia de Indagación John F. Kennedy.

Hello Families! I will have a uniform bus here January 22nd to give out uniforms to 50 students at Kennedy. If your student needs uniforms please fill out a permission slip. Your student will have to be at school that day to receive a uniform bag with 2 pants, 3 shirts, 1 pair of shoes and underwear.
I will also need parents to volunteer on this days to help with uniform sizes. Please let me know if you are available to volunteer and you will have to watch a 10 minute video. Students will be able to try on uniforms and shoes if we have enough volunteers.
I will leave permission slips at the front desk.

John F. Kennedy Academy has started their 1st Book Club! This is an after school program that will run from November- April, once a month 3-4pm. I am pleased to announce that Loving Library Ambassadors will be running the program in the Family Center. They will be reading a book, having a discussion and then doing an activity based on what they learned.

Spaces of Opportunity surprised the Garden Club with pumpkins to decorate and fresh pumpkin muffins with pumpkin seeds inside, so delicious! The week after each student received a bag of fresh vegetables. Ellie, taught them the difference between root vegetables and stem vegetables.
