Diana Apresa from Spaces of Opportunity was our guest speaker to talk to our familes about the farmer’s market, SNAP, Food Bucks and their double up program and events. I attached the invitation to make shadow boxes for valentines on Feb. 9th.
Dr Banks thanked parents for coming and discussed sports, extracurricular activities, AZELLA, and other testing. Parents communicated that they were happy with the teachers, and they were sorry to hear she was leaving at the end of this school year.

The event will take place at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School

The event officially begins with a community march in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Dear Parents,
Today, Friday, January 10, 2025, John F. Kennedy Academy of Inquiry had a lockdown drill. To ensure a safe learning environment for students and staff members, lockdown drills are common practice. The lockdown drill was at 1:00 and lasted for 23-minutes. Other than this interruption, the school day proceeded normally with minimal disruption to learning. The safety and well-being of students and staff members are our highest priority at John F. Kennedy Academy of Inquiry.
