We understand that recent cuts to SNAP funding and the temporary lapse in benefits may cause concern for many of our Roosevelt families. Please rest assured that all Roosevelt students will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch every school day, regardless of any changes to SNAP.

Join us on Friday, October 31st at 9:00 AM for our Bookworm Bash Parade. Students can come dressed as their favorite book character — from wizards to wild things!
There will be two winners per grade level:
Best store-bought costume
Best homemade costume
Students in the parade should also have a copy or a picture of the book for their characters.
Parents, please remember to sign in at the front office before heading to the gym to enjoy the parade.

Bus Route Changes - Oct. 27
To help reduce the overloading on Route 303 (Bus 101), students assigned to the 14th Way & Roeser stop will now ride on Route 302 (Bus 100) beginning today.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we continue working to improve route efficiency and ensure safe, reliable transportation for all students.
Route change for 14th Way & E Roeser Rd stop – Effective 10/27/25
To help reduce the overloading on Route 303 (Bus 101), students assigned to the 14th Way & Roeser stop will now ride on Route 302(Bus 100) for both AM and PM transportation, beginning Monday, October 27, 2025.

Dear Irene Lopez Families,
Friday, October 24th, is Picture Day! Every student will be photographed, and proofs will be sent home at a later date.
How to Purchase:
Once proofs are sent home, they will include easy-to-follow instructions on how to place your order.
Dress Code:
Uniforms are not required on Picture Day, but please make sure your child wears school-appropriate clothing.

Bus Updates - Oct. 14
Due to the high volume of drivers out, Route 303 will operate with a Sub driver and vehicle.
Route 401 will assist with the transportation needs of the students of Route 303.
IXL is a learning platform that allows students to practice the skills they’re learning and guides them to material that will help them grow the most.
With thousands of skills that match what we’re covering in class, as well as insights into student progress, IXL is a great resource to help your child excel.
If you have a computer at home, students can access IXL through their Clever accounts.
